During the first hour of the event, visitors could get signatures from the team and coaches. Our sons got their baseball gloves and a baseball signed. Most of the players would ask the kids questions or would joke with the kids. We were also able to take photos.
During the second half, the players wandered around the restaurant and talked with the fans. Food and beverages were also supplied as part of the event. Our kids talked to some of the players about the positions they play. Our oldest was talking to pitchers Zach Dials (#22) and Nathan Starner (#12) about their positions, and our youngest was showing Zach Dials how he pitches and fields the ball. It was funny to see our four-year old demonstrating the crocodile grounder scoop method.
We have attended many events and games since the Fisher Cats came to Manchester and started playing at Gil Stadium, including Player Clinics for kids, opening day of the Merchant Auto Stadium and many games. The NH Fisher Cat games are an affordable and fun sporting event to bring the family to with plenty of things to keep everyone happy. Bring the little ones to Fungo’s Funland for exercise, games and prizes.
